Today marks day 1 of starting the Loop. The day started out a bit foggy with chilly temperatures in the mid 40's; however, the day warmed up to around low 70's.

We left Green Turtle Bay at 10am, after having a wonderful breakfast with our boat neighbors, Jaime and Rob (Thank you for Breakfast, always a fun time with you two.... We will miss you, see you in 2023).

We arrived in Paris Landing (Tennessee) at 3pm. It was a nice boat ride down, quiet for the most part. The AGLCA Fall Rendezvous starts tomorrow.

AGLCA stands for: America's Great Loop Cruiser's Association. The Rendezvous is an event put on by the AGLCA, 3 times a year. It's a big conference, full of great information for the new and experienced boaters. We plan and hope to learn a lot!

Side note: We were supposed to stay in Ft. Meyers the month of December; however due to Hurricane Ian, those plans have changed. We will now stay in Dunedin, Florida. Please continue to keep our friends and their families in your thoughts and prayers as they build back their homes and communities.

See pictures of Day 1, I will blog again on Friday (after the Rendezvous).
